Sermon Notes

- Easter Sunday. John Chapter 20.

Sermon Notes: Easter Sunday. John Chapter 20. Our message to the world is – that Jesus died THERE and THEN, but he lives and gives LIFE to us HERE and NOW. Just when the authorities were uncorking the bottles, convinced that this preacher Jesus was no more – He pops up again – HERE, THERE and EVERYWHERE! No longer dead and buried, but WALKING and TALKING. Having been executed and sealed in a tomb, the word on the street is – JESUS is ALIVE and in remarkably good health.

- Palm Sunday – Matthew Chapter 21:1-11

Sermon Notes: Palm Sunday – Matthew Chapter 21:1-11 In Matthew 21 we join a crowd outside the city of Jerusalem who see and are there to welcome Jesus. This is the One they’ve been waiting for, dreaming about for hundreds and hundreds of years. The One who’s been promised by God throughout the Old Testament Scriptures. This is the day, now is the time, He is in their midst, but how will they respond to Him?

- Have you ever cried out to GOD in total despair and desperation for someone that you really love? ‘LORD, Can You help us?

Sermon notes: Mark 9:14-29. Have you ever cried out to GOD in total despair and desperation for someone that you really love? ‘LORD, Can You help us? I don’t know if you’ve ever been in a situation that there seems to be NO WAY out of it. NO way through it. NO way around it. You’ve tried everything and you’ve tried everyone BUT you’re beat….battered…..bruised…..defeated. Question: Isn’t that exactly how this ‘desperate father’ is feeling right NOW in this passage?

- Sermon Notes - Building Hope and Confidence. John 6:14-21

Never more is Hope and Confidence built than when you’re in a boat and a storm is going on around you. The disciples are at sea in these moments, they’re totally overwhelmed by life, they’re totally exhausted by what’s going on, they’re emotionally drained, because of all that they’re going through, and maybe that’s exact how you’re feeling. Maybe you’re wondering how you’re going to get through what you’re going through?
