Becoming an ACTS Church

Discipline is the bridge between vision and reality.

It is much easier to come up with a vision of who we are supposed to be, however it takes discipline and commitment to make it a reality.

To become an ACTS Church, we must become ACTS People.

A - Accessible (No Cliques, Open, Available, Welcoming)
C - Connected (The Old to the New)
T - Teaching & Teachable (Witnessing, Modeling)
S - Serving (Putting others above self)

Then Acts People will become an Acts Church

A - Attractive (To folks from all walks of life)
C - Committing (Passionate and Enthusiastic About Ministry)
T - Transforming (More and more into who we are, the body of Christ)
S - Sending (Out into the World)

The people / church cannot become what we are not!

We really are a family church of all ages and for all ages. We are a great mix of very ordinary people from such different backgrounds whom God has brought together in the most wonderful way.

Our heart is to love, enjoy and delight God’s heart and to reach out to others with the same loving kindness that He has shown us.

We are passionate about JESUS, and we are forever thankful for God’s incredible mercy in sending and sacrificing His one and His only Son to be our Saviour and LORD.

As an overflow of such love and kindness, we want to share Jesus with our neighbours and the nations, both with our words, and with our actions…

A good statement and one that is good to remind ourselves of as we seek to be the Church here.
